In this video, the Angry Video Game Nerd plays a bunch of games based on the Angry Video Game Nerd, including the recently released Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures.

Entirely coincidentally, I had just finished playing through AVGN Adventures myself right before loading up Cinemassacre and seeing that video. I played it on Easy, managed to find Kyle and Mike (but not the Bullshit Man), and died a little over 300 times (the game keeps track of it). Even on Easy, it is ridiculously difficult at times, but not impossibly so. It only took like 4 hours or so for me to get through it. That said, I doubt I'll be replaying it on a harder difficulty any time soon, where you have fewer hitpoints and a limited number of lives (as opposed to unlimited in Easy). >_>;
