Yeah, I couldn't give less of a shit about a versus mode in Bloodstained, nor whatever "balancing" would be required to make that viable.

If they were going to do any kind of multiplayer, I'd personally much rather see something like Harmony of Despair. I recall that what we played of that several years ago was pretty cool. That said, given they only have the one playable character so far, with a second one coming but not actually out yet, something like that would probably be much farther in the future. (But then, there were four playable characters already in Curse of the Moon so I dunno...)
