Yeah, I still have harmony of despair installed on my ps3s although I haven't played the game in years. They were probably lucky I bought it at all (pretty sure it was on sale when I did) given they effectively axed out close to half the game to DLC levels. Never did finish it either way as most of the time I played it was either when I was multiplaying with you or when I was playing local coop with my nephew. ... fairly certain local coop was a thing unless I'm thinking of a different game in that instance...
Only thing I probably didn't like about HoD is how they had the entire area/castle loaded at once and depended on zooming in/out. Probably made things easier in the long run for them, but it just felt off for me.
