Porn in a video game (not in the way you'd think)

11-year-old finds porn video in game package.

The interesting thing about this story, at least for me, is that Walnut Cove, North Carolina is maybe ten miles from my hometown of Madison. I'd wager that he probably bought it at the new Wal-Mart in Mayodan, which is right across the street from my old high school.

I honestly can't decide whether I want to be amused or dismayed by this story. I'm tending toward the latter, if only for the atrocious use of terms and phrases like "tape", and "installed the video into his Playstation Portable". On the other hand, given that this is a news report out of NC, at least they didn't misspell anything in this one, and that's something of an accomplishment, I suppose. ¬_¬

I'm with Destructoid in hoping that a certain attention whore doesn't get a sniff of this one, though.

(EDIT)Or, as one of the comments on Destructiod suggested, maybe the kid is just full of shit. I think I'll be keeping an eye on this one, assuming there's anything else beyond this on which to keep an eye.(/EDIT)

Wednesdays suck

What the hell is up with me and being sick on Wednesdays? Why can't I at least manage to time it so that it's on a Friday or a Monday?

Anyway, went to bed last night around 12:30am (slightly early for me) feeling pretty good, but then woke up at least three times during the night due to nausea. Didn't get much sleep and still felt like crap at around 8:00am, so I sent an email to work letting them know I was taking a sick day. Went back to bed and didn't wake up again until just a few minutes ago. I don't think I actually went fully back to sleep either, though, so I still feel like crap. I'm tempted to go back to bed, if only because I don't feel much like doing anything else, but I don't think I'd be able to actually sleep again, at least for the moment. At any rate, I'm probably just going to veg out in front of the computer, which is what I usually do anyway when I'm not at work, but being sick sucks most of the fun out of it.
