The air conditioning in the house is apparently on the fritz right now.
Best possible timing.
Possibly out of freon or some shit, possibly something worse than that. We don't know yet exactly, because my sister seems to be hesitant to even try to have anything done about the situation (and she owns the house, so it's not like I can/am going to take charge of the situation).
Worse than that, though, she seems to think that it's a good idea to open the windows to "create a cross-breeze" or whatever, even though it's fucking 91°F (~33°C) outside right now, with a "Feels Like" temp of 99°F. No, it's not a good idea. I told her it's not a good idea. She did it anyway. So... I just came back into my room here and closed the door, hopefully to keep her 91°F "cross-breeze" the fuck out of here as much as I can, for the little to nothing that's worth.
Just to note, 91°F is obviously hotter than it is inside the house, at least for the time being, but it won't be too long before it is that hot in here what with the fucking windows open letting in a 91°F "cross-breeze" and all. *weary goddamn sigh*
(EDIT, about 1.5 hours later) Went back out just a bit ago, and the windows were all closed again, so I guess she thought better of it. Well, that's one less thing to have to put up with I guess. (/EDIT)
