Can't say I'll never ever do a youtube channel or twitch stream, but yeah stuff like this is why I'd never do it for profit. (if it makes a profit, fine, but it certainly wouldn't be my bread and butter so to speak.)
Most I could see myself doing on youtube would be for videos showing off my own games assuming I ever got them polished and ready to go. Twitch streaming would just be to encourage me to play my own games - as it sometimes helps to have a couple people watching on to try to play a bit better. ^^;
Or perhaps better said "if -I- have to suffer through it, at least someone else is suffering too!" ^^
All that being said, I desperately need a computer upgrade and an internet upgrade before I can seriously consider either as proven by my lazy ass test twitch streams from a year or so ago.
The only things I'd ever uploaded to my Youtube channel were a couple of unlisted Minecraft things (one being that one where we blew up one of those "Borg cube" things with a fuck-ton of TNT on the server). Those vanished into the ether when I deleted my original Youtube channel, though. My current Youtube channel was only used for lurking, and that was before I logged out entirely a couple months ago, to bypass their asinine anti-adblock horseshit (a loophole they haven't closed yet, and if/when they ever do, that's probably when I'll be completely done with Youtube for good).
