That whole "### people clicked dislike and are thus evil" meme on Youtube needs to die, asap.
It's like half the comments on any given video are of that nature lately. Or at least it seems that way since they usually get a billion thumbs up, which means they are almost invariably the comments that show up in the highest rated comments section.
Look, even for videos that I like, I don't care to see a bunch of comments like "112 people are fags" or "114 retards missed the Like button" or whatever other "clever" video-specific (or Justin Bieber-related) variations people come up with. The whole thing is just stupid.
Ah well, as I've said many times in the past and will likely say many more times in the future, the vast majority of Youtube commenters are flat-out morons anyway, so I guess it's to be expected and just can't be helped. *weary sigh* I seriously need to just stop browsing Youtube comments altogether. It's never not depressing.
(EDIT)
Oh, the morbid, cathartic pleasure I get out of skimming down the list of comments of any videos I may be watching or listening to at the time, and down-voting every last one of those ever-so-retarded comments that I see, as well as marking them all as spam. Sure, it may be as useful as trying to empty the ocean with a spork, but somebody's gotta do it.
