So, Origin has gotten rid of "On the House."
Aside from if I ever reinstall The Sims 3 and/or 4 at some point in the nebulous future, On the House was pretty much the only reason I had to even remotely bother with occasionally booting up Origin (which I would do whenever I got an email via r/onthehouse via IFTTT saying that a new free game had been made available).
Apparently, On the House was replaced with Origin Access, some kind of shitty subscription service. "Just $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year."
