"Expect More Games To Get Caught Using Undisclosed AI | Castle Super Beast 327 Clip"

I'm with Pat. The Alters seemed and still seems interesting overall, but I'm going to wait a while before I think about getting it (beyond just the usual policy reasons, I mean).

Woolie's right in that this is just going to get worse and more prevalent, whether one is aware of it or not.

And yeah, modern country music sucks hemorrhaging anus. If I had to say there was a genre of music that I dislike the most and will go out of my way to avoid listening to, it is "contemporary country." The fact that AI is capable of churning out convincing AI slop country music that is hard to distinguish from the real thing is not even remotely surprising to me.

While I like Pat's tangential example of Bell Canada outsourcing their entire customer service department to India [citation needed] and having that end up in an entire generation of people being primed to be utterly pissed off with garbage, I think Woolie's counterpoint of people just getting used to and accepting of garbage is the more accurate one, because... well... just look at how 99.9% of "cOnSuMeRs" react to modern video game industry bullshit. They willing weld their lips to the sewer pipe and enthusiastically suck it down and will fight you if you try to perform surgery to detach their lips from the sewer pipe. (Which of course they themselves bring up soon enough. And when Pat was putting forward the hypothetical of The Elder Scrolls VI potentially championing AI, I immediately thought of Grand Theft Auto, which Woolie mentioned right after.)

I still only (knowingly, intentionally) "use" LLM/AI in a very game-ish/game-like way, via NovelAI and, occasionally, Character.ai. I'd probably still be using AI Dungeon, too, if it hadn't completely shat the bed a few years ago. It's all still just a novelty to me, at best. I wouldn't trust it for anything more serious than that as far as I could pick up and throw a power plant dedicated to running all this shit, though.

I mean, they're already trying to get ChatGPT to pilot spaceships now. It can't even sell fast food properly. I certainly wouldn't trust it (or any other AI) to pilot a vehicle yet, if ever.

Oh, and on a related topic, speaking of Microsoft sucking shit...
