"In a break with Trump, Elon Musk calls the GOP megabill a 'disgusting abomination'"
For once, he's not wrong. Stopped clock, and all that.
That said, if this is what begins Elon Musk's descent into obscurity, that would be a silver lining. Just wish he could drag his (former?) co-President down with him, though.
Or, conversely, if this is what finally begins to remove the sheen from Trump himself, especially in the eyes of Congressional Republicans, all the better. It's pretty unlikely that they would start backing Phony Stark over Dumbshit Jackass, though.
Either way, I'll just be glad when I can stop hearing about the goddamned "big, beautiful bill." It's certainly big, I'll give it that, but there is absolutely nothing beautiful about it. If Sissy SpaceX shitting on it is what ends up killing it, then great. Incredibly tepid hurrah for Musk, I guess, if it actually dies as a result of this.
Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with both Elon Musk and Donald Trump (and with everyone who voted yes on this dumbfuck bill), as usual.
