"Hi. Matt Lech (Left Reckoning, The Majority Report) joins Katy, Cody, and Jonathan to talk about the latest revelations in the ongoing Trump-Epstein scandal and the IDF's grotesque murder of thousands of Palestinians seeking aid in Gaza."

"For months"? Try "for years" or "for decades."

Really, though, if Trump didn't want to get caught up in this big conspiracy about a guy who ran a literal island for pedophiles, then maybe, I don't know, perhaps Trump should not have almost assuredly raped children, probably. Just saying. Though, yeah, I agree that there's probably not video of Trump actually fucking kids (unless Putin happens to have something stashed away somewhere from Trump's time in Russia), nor is there likely audio or written statements of Trump explicitly discussing potential pre-adolescent fucking activities.

(Remember, too, that Trump was a guy who walked into the dressing rooms while girls were changing clothes at those teen beauty pageants that he ran [which is mentioned in the above embedded video, too]. And, again, all the creepy shit he has said about his own daughters over the years [which is mentioned in the above embedded video, too]. It's way more than just the Epstein shit. Trump is almost certainly a pedophile. And he's a known rapist, aLlEgEdLy.)

Wouldn't it be incredibly fucked up if Donald Trump is the guy who normalizes pedophilia in America, though? Like... he just snaps one day and holds a press conference and is all like "Yeah, I fucked a bunch of kids. Bigly. Yuge amount of kids I fucked. What about it?" and then half of voting age Americans are just like, "Well... if our God Emperor did it, then I guess fucking kids maybe isn't a bad thing, actually?" That would be the icing on the wretched, shit-soaked cake that is Donald Trump's "Aristocrats Joke"-like excuse for a life.

Oh, and they mentioned Hillary and the FBI bullshit and James Comey and the like in the above video? I guess that means it must be time for the obligatory mention of the True Pundit Hoax again.

And... yeah, Israel is still committing literal fucking genocide. Not much new to say there. It's still ongoing, just like it has been for almost two years now. Nice to see the lamestream media is finally starting to catch up, I guess. (The less I hear about the fucking Nelk Boys the better, though, especially if they're actually, honest-to-god """""interviewing""""" Benjamin fucking Netanyahu of all people. What's next? Logan Paul heading over to Gaza for some more choice outrage-bait content?)

"Hi. On today's episode, we look at the Trump administration's cuts to FEMA, the NOAA, and the National Weather Service, and ask why anyone, even the GOP, would want to get rid of these valuable, non-political entities that only exist to help people."

Could have done without the stupid "scream machine" skit, but otherwise, good episode.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with DOGEald Trump and everything to do with Project 2025, as usual.

A post on The Daily Cartoonist.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. On today's episode, Katy, Cody, and Jonathan talk about the many ways the Trump administration is trying to get the media to move on from his Epstein scandal, including accusing Barack Obama of treason, accusing Adam Schiff of mortgage fraud, and demanding that the Washington Commanders change their team name back to a racial slur."

Based on just the headline, I'll just say, "All the more reason to keep the focus on Epstein, I guess." But then, even the Epstein shit is just a distraction from all the current Chaotic Stupid Evil shit that the Trump """""administration""""" is continuously doing.

And based on the video description, yeah... Donald Trump, of all people, going after anyone else for fucking mortgage fraud is fucking ludicrous.

Now, to actually watch it.

And... that's about all I have to say about the video. It's as good as it ever is, but I don't feel the need to "live" blog my viewing of it, this time.

Oh, on a related tangent... as for Trump having "never wrote a picture in [his] life," yeah... that was, obviously, a fucking lie. Because Trump lies. Trump is a liar. Trump is a lying piece of shit. And he lies about easily verifiable shit like this.

I mean, yeah, they're very, very shitty drawings, sure, but they're still drawings. (Trump's got nothing on Adolf Hitler in that respect, at least, even if he's very similar to Hitler in far too many other ways.) Also... why does Trump's signature look like the output of a seismograph? I guess that's fitting, since Trump is a natural disaster in vaguely human shape, after all. Well, I guess we can add "doesn't know how to properly write his own goddamn name in cursive" to the list of Trump's flaws.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump, as usual.

The Daily Cartoonist is one of those things that makes me glad that I do still check my Google News App[1] at least once or twice a day. It's a site that randomly popped up on there a few months ago, and now I've got it in my Feedly feed. (And doing so has shown me that I've missed a lot more of them than I've seen, even though I'm also "following" it in my Google News App.)

Also, it's kind of funny that depicting a character wearing a red trucker hat has become shorthand for indicating that said character is a blithering moron whose views and opinions are beneath contempt. That's all it takes anymore. Doesn't even need to have "MAGA" clearly shown on it. Just a red trucker hat is all that's required. True to life, honestly.

[1] - More and more often lately, my Google News App is an exercise in frustration, because it keeps showing me crap that I have absolutely zero interest in, despite me having explicitly picked "Fewer stories about a topic:" for said topics. For example, I've probably tapped "Fewer stories about a topic: Space Exploration Technologies Corp." at least a hundred times now. Maybe the next time I do that will be the magic tipping point that makes it finally stop showing me stories about SpaceX. Yeah, right.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Comedian Josh Gondelman joins Katy, Cody, and Jonathan to talk about the latest in the Trump/Epstein debacle, how MAGA grifters like Benny Johnson are scrambling to decide what they believe, the latest inflation numbers, the GOP defunding NPR & PBS, and Grok's new creepy 'companions.'

"(And, as is typical, we finished recording right before The Wall Street Journal published that Trump-Epstein birthday card! We'll talk about that soon, but until then, may every day be another wonderful secret.)"

(Here is [an archive.is snapshot of] that The Wall Street Journal article about Trump's bawdy birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein that they mention in the description. Trump, of course, says it's fake, because he "never wrote a picture in my life.")

Karoline Leavitt on screen? Instant "middle-finger worthy" tag inclusion. Of course, the later Donald Trump clips would have justified it, even if that hadn't already done so.

"It's like the dog caught the car, and the car was full of pedophiles, and the dog was also a pedophile."

"It makes it seems like they're all untrustworthy and they're in this position that they're now stuck in because they supported this serial liar and now it's them. 'The elites! The government! They're all in charge and they're all lying to you! Oh... we're the elites and the government now. We have to lie to everybody...' is the situation they're in right now."

Oh, and let me guess, the "credible" files are only the ones that don't obviously include Trump's name all over them. Gotcha.

"[Trump] is too cooked to know how to get out of this on his own. This is like watching Bugs Bunny be like 'I can't put on that dress again. I'm not going to fool this guy into thinking I'm a sexy lady. Why do you even want to hunt me?' He's just past his prime as a liar. He's lying about a thing that people care about and lying in a way that insults their intelligence to their faces. He's still so effective at telling people the lies that they want to hear when he is aligned with them, but when he's adversarial, he's not good at making excuses. All he can say is no, and that's not good enough when you've spent a decade frothing people up about like John Podesta eating babies allegedly and all that shit. And now [Trump] is like actually there's nothing, it was written by my enemies, and they're like well then what the fuck were you talking about for 10 years?"

"Leaving a cult doesn't mean it wasn't a cult."

So, apparently, the RWNJ horseshit narrative now really, actually is "WeLl, BiDeN pRoBaBlY pUt SoMe LiEs In ThE ePsTeIn FiLeS jUsT tO mAkE tRuMp LoOk BaD." How utterly, tediously banal.

Charlie Kirk: "[My] balls are in their hands."

It wasn't mentioned in the video above, but keep in mind, too, that Trump has very heavily implied that he wants to fuck his own daughters and has been doing so for decades. (How old is Tiffany Trump now?) Is it really so hard to believe that, maybe, just maybe, Trump also fucked some underage girls on the sly? Possibly ones that looked like Ivanka and/or Tiffany? You know, if that really were a thing that allegedly almost assuredly happened and all.

In any case, none of this Epstein shit will matter at all a month from now, maybe even a week from now. All the dipshits who were already predisposed to suck Trump's mushroom chode will be back to slurping it just as they have been for the past ten years now, and everything will continue to suck rancid asshole for everyone who was not predisposed to do that.

And yeah, that new Grok thing is pretty fucking creepy and weird. <-- Evergreen statement.

Fuck Donald Trump.

"On May 1, 1969, Fred Rogers, host of the (then) recently nationally syndicated children's television series, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (named Misterogers' Neighborhood at the time), testified before the Senate Committee on Commerce Subcommittee on Communications to defend $20 million in federal funding proposed for the newly formed non-profit Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which was at risk of being reduced to $10 million. Subcommittee chairman, Senator John Pastore (D-RI), unfamiliar with Fred Rogers, is initially abrasive toward him. Over the course of Rogers' 6 minutes of testimony, Pastore's demeanor gradually transitions to one of awe and admiration as Rogers speaks."

What does Donald Trump do with the mad that he feels? He takes it out on the rest of the world, and we all suffer for it.

Donald Trump is probably the closest thing to an "anti-Mister Rogers" as humanity has produced so far.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump, as usual, along with all the Congressshitsmears who did this.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. People say 'the government should run more like a business' all the time, but when you think about it, that's a pretty bad idea precisely because of how businesses work."

Betteridge's Law of Headlines strikes again.

Also, spoiler alert: it's all fascist, Nazi shit. Because, these days, of course it is.

(I certainly wouldn't mind if the current government [as in the people in charge of said government, not necessarily the rank and file workers] was run like Battle Royale or The Hunger Games or The Long Walk or Survival of the Fittest or the Thunderdome [but only as long as the surviving winner is immediately fed feet first into a wood chipper].)
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. In today's episode of EVEN MORE NEWS, Katy and Jonathan spend today's episode going through MAGA's Epstein meltdown and hoping that ICE decides to respect a federal judge's ruling that the 4th and 5th amendments still exist."

The only reason that Donald Trump wants everyone to stop talking about Epstein is because Trump himself[1] was almost certainly raping underage girls on Epstein's jet and island. That's the long and short of it. Case closed. If MAGAts truly cared about pedophilia[2], they never would have or should have backed Donald goddamned Trump in the first place.

"There are no scandals anymore."

The reason why there aren't individual, career-ending scandals anymore is because the entirety of the second[3] Donald Trump """""administration""""" is nothing but one gargantuan scandal. The fact that he was ever POTUS at all, either time, is a colossal scandal. Everything about Donald Trump, in general, is absolutely nothing but scandal after scandal after scandal after scandal after scandal. The decrepit fucker doesn't have time for anything but scandals. It's all scandals and nothing but scandals, all the fucking time. It's just too fucking big.

And the fact that "the media" is either unwilling to or is incapable of reporting on any of this in any real, meaningful way is a whole other scandal in its own right.

And it's also incredibly tiresome and banal to keep seeing and hearing the same damn people, all the time, just dismissing all this shit as if it's nothing but "LIEbrul whining" or whatever, over and over and over and over and over again.

[1] - And Bill Clinton and a bunch of other people, but that's entirely irrelevant to these specific circumstances. Moreover, seriously, does anyone honestly believe that if Trump's name was not all over "the Epstein files," and it really was just Bill Clinton and whoever, Trump's people wouldn't have released this shit ages ago?

[2] - Remember all that QAnon shit? That was their whole big thing, right? That Trump was on some super secret crusade to root out all the pedophiles or some dumb bullshit like that? Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

[3] - And, hell, the first, too, for that matter.
kane_magus: (Default)
In his ludicrous attempts to un-"woke" Grok, Elron Mustard's solution was apparently to just have it pull its answers directly from his own online collection of liquid sharts, at least for "controversial" topics.

It took the Internet as a whole less than one day to turn Tay into a Nazi. So... how long, exactly, has it taken super genius Phony Stark to do the same with Grok now? And, again, his current attempt at a "fix," in his laughable (and blatantly dishonest) quest for a "maximally truth-seeking AI" (and to remove that pesky bias toward actual reality), seems to have been "just ask me first."
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Today we're looking at right-wing lies. But not the banner headline, 'They’re Eating The Dogs'-type lies, but the under-the-radar, insidious lies told by chuds like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Matt Walsh, and Elon Musk."

But... there are so many. And this video is only an hour long?

"...either stupid or a liar..." I mean, to be fair, they can be both. Stupid people can believe that other people are also stupid enough to believe their lies, after all. And in too many cases, those stupid people are actually right about all the other stupid people who do indeed believe their lies.
kane_magus: (Default)
Maybe I'd post less about the Supreme Court if I only posted on the rare occasions where they didn't do that.
kane_magus: (Default)
No, really. All because James Gunn made the supposedly outlandish comment that Superman is an immigrant.

Like, no shit. Superman is an immigrant. Hell, he's even an illegal immigrant who was either adopted by the Kents under false pretenses (i.e. I'm pretty sure they didn't report that they found him in a spaceship) or else they falsely passed him off as their natural born son. Either way, put that in your crack pipe and suck it, MAGA.

This shit is almost as asinine and disingenuous as when Faux Noise called Mister Rogers, of all people, an "evil, evil man" back in 2007. In both cases, they sound like even they hardly believe the bullshit they're spewing, even as they're spewing it.

So, basically, Trumpanzees calling Superman "superwoke" is a compliment to Superman, even if that's not how they intend it.
kane_magus: (Default)
Of course it won't be "so easy." Even if everything comes up completely aces for the Democrats between now and whenever, I am sure that they'll somehow manage to find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, as they have done far too often lately.

Also, I kind of really despise the fact that the Democrat "leadership" seem to be thinking about this shit in terms of "the bIg BeAuTiFuL bIlL is terrible and is going to hurt a lot of people... and that's great, because it gives us a chance to win again!!!" rather than in terms of "the BiG bEaUtIfUl BiLl is terrible and is going to hurt a lot of people. Period. Full Stop. End of Line. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200."

It would be like playing in some sportsball thing, seeing the other team's star player literally die on the sportsplace due to some horrendous injury, and immediately thinking "Wonderful! We can actually win this game now!" (EDIT) Well, no, I guess this would be less like seeing the other team's star player die and more like seeing that star player go batshit insane, dive into the crowd, murder several of the audience members (half or more of whom were there specifically because they were megafans of that very star player), and get arrested and dragged away in handcuffs, and then immediately thinking "Yes! Awesome! This is our chance!" (/EDIT)

On the one hand, it is mind boggling to me that "the Democratic brand remains deeply unpopular" given that their opponents are, you know... *gestures vaguely in the direction of Dumbshit Jackass Trump and the GQP*, but on the other hand, given my own personal observations of the Democrats over the years and the fact that I, myself (a registered Democrat), don't even like them very much (though I still like them many orders of magnitude more than I like the GQP), it's not actually all that shocking or surprising that they're so heavily disliked lately. And shit like this is why. They seem almost ecstatic by the fact that this dogshit bill got passed, because, at least in their minds, it seems to give them the "in" that they so desperately needed. I mean, no, that's not quite as vile and evil as thinking that this dogshit bill is actually good, but still, it's pretty vile, all the same.
kane_magus: (Default)
God fucking damn it. I mean, sure, it was wholly expected that all the GQP bootlickers would cave to their God Emperor in the end, but that doesn't make this any less horrible.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and with every single Congressasshat who voted in favor of this utter dogshit.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Katy, Cody, and Jonathan are here to discuss the Supreme Court's rulings against nationwide injunctions and how every non-white baby, starting next month, is going to need to lawyer up to establish that they're a U.S. citizen. They also go through some of the worst parts of the GOP mega-bill, which is set to strip about 12 million people of their Medicaid coverage."

Yeah, Katy, the next shitsucking GQP megabill should be called "2 Big 2 Beautiful."

"People are about to see..." Well, no, I'm way more pessimistic there, because if people haven't fucking already seen the disgusting, horrid, vile, evil things that Trump and Trump's people/the people who prop up Trump for their own gain have been doing and trying to do for the past decade now and have voted for him three times now (including 2020), regardless, then there's no guarantee that they "are about to see" it now. And even if they do see it, they will rationalize it as being the Democrats' fault somehow, because shit like Faux Noise will tell them that it is the Democrats' fault, and they will swallow it, hook, line, and sinker (and, of course, the Democrats will be completely ineffectual, as always, in countering such blatant, obvious lies).
kane_magus: (Default)
...it sometimes feels like everyone in DC believes that Donald Trump is some kind of political Anthony Fremont and are scared absolutely shitless that he will banish them to "the cornfield" if they slight him in any way, when he's really just an impotent manchild who only happens to be the SCROTUS IMPOTUS now because most of those same people stupidly believed it was a good idea to back his moronic ass in the first place. And the sooner they all realize that Trump does not have godlike power and is, instead, just a complete dumbass with terrible ideas who nobody in their right mind should pay the slightest attention to for any reason, the better off everyone would be.
