(All of the below is copy/pasted, with very minor edits, from my Facebook share of the above video.)
Via Hillary Clinton, whose post Facebook is not letting me directly share, for whatever dumb reason. https://www.facebook.com/hillaryclinton/posts/2676675069055672
And, of course, down in the comments under Ms. Clinton's post can be found the same banal, imbecilic arguments against gun control that you always invariably, inevitably see each and every time the subject comes up.
Strange how all the morons who scoff at "gun laws" and talk so much stupid shit about how "gun laws" are useless and need to be done away with are, indeed, the very same morons who cling so very tightly and desperately to the *one* poorly-worded, ambiguous, archaic "gun law" that they forever cite as the reason they get to have their guns in the first place (i.e. the Second Amendment). So, which is it? Are "gun laws" pointless and stupid and need to be gotten rid of? Or are "gun laws" sacrosanct and part of the very foundation of the United States? Pick one or the other, but quit trying to hypocritically claim both at the same time.
My personal opinion is that the Second Amendment needs to be either heavily revised in order to remove any ambiguity (i.e. to remove the idiotic notion that any and every stupid schlub in the country has a "right" to stockpile dozens of guns) or else it needs to be removed from the US Constitution entirely. There shouldn't be a "right" to collect guns any more than there is a "right" to collect Pokemon. Either way, in order to allow common sense gun control laws to, finally, come to fruition. Good luck ever getting that to happen, of course, but until and unless it does happen, this country will continue to remain the pure, deadly shitshow that it is now.
In any case... on the one hand, I like the video and the fact that all these candidates have come together to say the same thing, which is a thing I agree with. On the other hand, talk is incredibly cheap and until and unless I see actual action on the issue, after one of these candidates (hopefully) wins the Presidency away from current SCROTUS Dick Tater in 2020, I will take anything they say on the matter with a grain of salt.
(EDIT)
And all of the comments under the Youtube video itself that I embedded above are about Andrew Yang (whoever the fuck that is, as I've never even heard of that guy prior to looking at the comments under the video, but if the guy himself is even a hundredth as egregiously obnoxious as all of his supporters seem to be, at least based on all the pissbaby comments under that video, then I couldn't really care less about him [which is about the same way I feel about Bernie Sanders these days, due to his superfans being similarly extremely unpleasant assholes]), rather than the actual content of the video itself. Go fucking figure.
(That said, make no mistake, I will still absolutely vote for that Andrew Yang dude if he ends up somehow being the one running against Trump, just as I will Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden or any of the other Democratic candidates, if they end up in the same position, even if they may not be the one I would have directly chosen to be in that position. Doesn't matter, they'll still be better than having another four years of Trump badly playacting as POTUS. As I've already said many times before, I would gladly give my vote to a literal sopping sack of shit if it were the thing that ended up running against Trump, before I would ever vote in favor of Trump.)
