Alec Holowka
The context for what comes below is that Steam's Facebook page made a post about a LGBTQ+ sale.
After I'd made a couple of snarky observations in my share of that post regarding the comments under it, like "So many triggered incel snowflakes who mistakenly believe that they're clever," and such, I wrote the following, which I will copy and paste here (and which I also copy/pasted out into its own post on FB):
And all I have to say is that via dipshits in Facebook comments being "lulzy" about it is a really, really shitty way for me to find out about Alec Holowka. https://www.google.com/search?q=Alec+Holowka
Holy fucking shit, I had no idea that, first, he'd been accused of sexual harassment and abuse and that, second, he'd killed himself at the end of August. I had been a fan of him and his games since Aquaria, and had been following him on Twitter. Though I haven't yet played Night in the Woods, I'd heard good things about it (well, aside from this nasty behind-the-scenes shit that I'm only just now finding out about).
Now I suppose I know what all those other people felt like after Justin "JewWario" Carmical's suicide, both before and after it was revealed years later that he'd actually been a scuzzy, grooming creep. *weary sigh*

In any case, it's very difficult and rather depressing to try to glean anything on the Internet about this that isn't either "Alec Holowka was a horrible monster" on the one hand or the typical "Zoe Quinn is a horrible monster and a liar" GamerGate bullshit on the other (because Zoe Quinn was involved in the accusations against Alec Holowka).
I just can't, right now.

All I'm going to do right now is post the following three links, particularly the third one:
