Also, it's kind of funny (weird funny, not ha ha funny), because last time, they were mocking gamers who complained about this stuff. Now, they're complaining about this stuff. Go figure.

(Yet another "'diablo iii' tag is my de facto 'blizzard sucks' tag" and "I wish I'd called it 'asinine anti-offline trend' instead of 'asinine anti-singleplayer trend' but oh well" type of post.)

Wait... the game... fucking kills your character... if you get disconnected? What the actual, legitimate fuck.

I mean, Jesus fucks, that would be shitty enough even on not permadeath, but this is beyond the fucking pale, entirely. Hell, I was pissed off enough with Path of Exile to never play it ever again when it merely booted me back out to the hub town after a random disconnect, and that game is fucking free. This is orders of magnitude worse than that. It basically cements that I will never play Diablo IV, even if I wasn't already dead sure of that, even if I somehow got it for free, too.

(And yet, even after this, there are still Blizzard rep drones/fanbois/clodpolls down in the comments defending Blizzard over this, because of course there are. Go fucking figure. *eye roll + facepalm + smdh + weary goddamn sigh*)
