Of course he's now claiming he was "being sarcastic." *eye roll + weary sigh + facepalm + smdh*
Because that's what people like Trump always do. They say incredibly asinine things in all seriousness, because they wrongly think that they are smarter than they actually are, and then, when they correctly get called out for their incredible asininity, they try to backpedal by claiming that they were "just joking" or "being sarcastic" or whatever. "I was just joking, bruh" is not, has never been, and will never be a get-out-of-jail-free card for saying the kind of dumbshit Trump constantly says, especially when he's saying them in his (badly playacted) role as President.
It's also due to him being a liar, a demonstrable, pathological, incessant, terrible, obvious liar. He is a very, very stupid, ignorant, gullible, disgusting, hateful, vile, evil man, and he needs to stop being the President of the United States of America, whether of his own volition or not. The sooner he is no longer President and is instead locked away in a prison cell for the rest of his life, the better off this country and the world as a whole will be.
