- On Steam
- Is not infected with Denuvo
- Already getting good word-of-mouth hype from people whose opinions I respect
Cons:
- Costs $60 at launch and there is almost assuredly DLC coming at some point, too.
- Pretty sure my comp doesn't meet minimum spec
- I own Dark Souls 1, 2, & 3 on Steam and yet have only played most of the way through 1 but didn't beat it. Not that that actually matters as far as Elden Ring is concerned, since they're not related, but still, I'd kind of want to play through those first, regardless. (I'd play Demon's Souls and Bloodborne, too, if those were available on PC, but they're not, so oh well.)
Verdict:
- Probably going to get it, eventually, but going to hold off on buying it for now, at least until it's on sale, but more likely until after I finally break down and buy/build a new comp at some point in the distant, nebulous future. Either that or I'll get it whenever I buy a console capable of playing it, in the possibly even more distant, even more nebulous future.
