...due to this fucking hurricane coming through or whatever. As such, it would not surprise me in the slightest if the power here goes down at some point. Wind isn't even really all that strong yet. Supposedly, the worst of the wind will peak at some point between 10pm and midnight, so if we can get through that without losing power, maybe it'll be okay.
I just hope it's not like one of the previous times a big storm came through, where it dropped a tree limb onto the power cable coming directly into this house, because that ended up with us being without power for a week-plus. (Yeah, yeah, first world problems, blah blah.)
(EDIT) Made it through without losing power (so far), and it looks like it's mostly gone on through, so hopefully the risk of it happening is further diminished. Well, until the next one comes through, of course. (/EDIT)
