I seriously don't get it.
Is Jack Thompson moonlighting as a private investigator or a bounty hunter or a whatever the hell now, in addition to being a shitty lawyer? I feel bad for those parents, but this is, in my opinion, probably one of the most unproductive things they could have done. I don't see how Jack Thompson, in any way whatsoever, could help them find their son. Or perhaps contacting Thompson is some kind of misguided revenge thing against the evil video game that kidnapped their son? I honestly don't get it. If the kid isn't found, or is found dead or something, this will be still more fuel for Thompson's asshatted crusade. If the kid is found alive and well, Thompson will be able to take (likely undeserved) credit for it. Either way, it's win-win for Jackhole.
I hope things turn out well for those parents, but I don't see anything good coming from this situation at all, now that Jack Thompson is apparently involved.

According to Jackhole, apparently, MMO players all over are up and disappearing, presumably to be murdered by their MMO brethren.
