"House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says Republican lawmakers may consider an impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden over unproven claims of financial misconduct, responding to enormous GOP pressure to demonstrate support for Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election." (Emphasis mine.)
That is all it fucking is. They're not doing this because they actually think they have something solid on Biden or because they think they're upholding justice or because they're seeking the truth of the matter or whatever. No, they're merely scrambling to find anything to pin onto Biden, no matter how ludicrously flimsy (and already investigated and dismissed) it may be[1], just so that they can signal undeserved fealty to a goddamned conman (and whether they're in on the con themselves or among those who have been conned is irrelevant, because it's fucking asinine dogshit, either way). Just because Trump got impeached, twice, for extremely good reasons, these numbnut asshats want to turn around and do the same to Biden, too, in retaliation. They want to turn the impeachment process into a battering ram to punish the guy they don't like, cheapening the whole thing in the process. (Kind of like how Trump being President in the first place cheapened the office of President overall.) Trump should have been impeached, and he was. Trump should have been convicted and removed from office, too, but he wasn't, all because these partisan chodes[2] prevented that from happening. If Biden is impeached, it will end up being just as big of a clownshow waste of time as the Trump impeachments were, because the Democrat-controlled Senate will (correctly) acquit Biden, same as how the GQP-controlled Senate (incorrectly) acquitted Trump during the previous term.
To hell with Donald Trump. To hell with everyone who still, despite everything, continues to prop up his stupid, corpulent ass. To hell with everything to do with all of this fucking imbecilic horseshit.
[1] - See also: the hojillion investigations into Hillary Clinton with which they wasted years and millions of dollars, not a one of which found a single iota of wrongdoing on the part of Should-Have-Been-President Clinton. Hell, they even tried to do that shit with Obama, too, even if all they could find "wrong" with him was that he wore a fucking tan suit or whatever.
[2] - Or whatever the female equivalent to a chode is, in the case of Marjorie Taylor Greene, because you can be damn sure that she would have been in lockstep with those trying to save their God Emperor, had she been in office at the time of Trump's impeachments. Even now, she's saying Trump's impeachments should be "expunged," like the clueless fucking bubblehead that she is.
