Have I mentioned lately how incredibly fucking asinine I find organized religion to be?
On the one hand, it sucks shit that this kid was kicked out of his school based solely on the fact that his parents objected to the Paleolithic horseshit being imposed on everyone by the hateful, brain-dead higher ups of the school and the church, such as that Father Sean McCaffrey encrusted pisshole.
On the other hand... well... the kid doesn't have to go to that shitty Catholic school anymore, so I'm not sure he won't be better off, at least in the long run. (That's assuming his parents don't just enroll him in another, similarly religious-bullshit-based school again, of course.)
As for all those other parents who are hesitant to speak up for fear of their own kids being kicked out or whatever... fuck that... I'd be actively and aggressively pulling my kids out, if it were me. But then, I don't have kids, though if I did, I would've never had them enrolled in, of all places, a fucking Catholic school to begin with, so what do I know.
Remember, girls, if you wear leggings, you're a whore, and you shouldn't do that, because it's totally on you to help boys get into heaven by not tempting them into sin. Also, God Hates Fags™©® or whatever. Or, at least, so say the dumbfucks in charge of St. John LaLande Catholic School, anyway.
