Fucking hell.
Look, I want Trump out of the running for POTUS as much as any sane person does, as I've made abundantly clear here, but this was not the way to go about it (nor was it all that sane, for that matter). Mainly because, in my not at all humble opinion, Trump being assassinated would be Trump getting off far too lightly and escaping punishment for his myriad crimes, which is something else I've said on this blog and elsewhere several times before, most recently here. (At least that I could immediately find, anyway. There may be more recent instances. But even there, way back in ye olden days of 2019, I seemed to be less... adamant... about it than I was prior to then).
Man, what a goddamn clusterfuck this is going to be over the next days and weeks, any way you look at it.
(EDIT)
I mean, fuck, we've already got fucking morons blaming Biden, among many others, for this (in the process of shilling a book, in this particular case, go figure). *eye roll* If you, Jonathan Turley, are going to blame Biden and Chuck Schumer and The View and Kathy Griffin and whoever else for inflammatory rhetoric (and that's not necessarily a bad thing to do), then you sure as shit better also blame Trump himself for his own ridiculously inflammatory rhetoric over the past decade-plus, along with millions of his Trumpanzee lickspittles who have said far worse than even Trump himself, you stupid fucking asshat.
