I don't recall ever hearing of Dauntless prior to this video. Everything about this game and what happened to this game and how this game died, as described in the above video, has to be one of the best/worst examples of modern video game industry bullshit that I've heard about in a while. And that's saying something, considering how horribly ubiquitous modern video game industry bullshit is, nowadays.
(I'm reminded yet again that when I first unveiled the "game industry stuff" tag, it was initially the "game industry bullshit" tag, before I renamed it like a week/month later to "stuff" instead of "bullshit." I've long been thinking that maybe I should've just kept it as "game industry bullshit" all along.)
