These results show that the 266 is not supposed to arrive at this stop until 5:13pm. Today, the bus went by at 5:03pm, a full TEN MINUTES earlier than the posted time. I saw this happen as I was in a car with a co-worker, catching a ride to the bus stop in the hopes of, for once, getting to the bus stop before the bus arrived, which proved futile. For the past month or so now, the 266 has been habitually arriving between 5 to 10 minutes earlier than it should be at this stop. Only very rarely does it arrive anywhere even remotely near the 5:13pm posted time, and even those times it is still at least 2-4 minutes early. This is incredibly frustrating for me, because it means that I then have to wait an additional 30 minutes or more for the next bus to arrive. I am sick of being within sight of the bus stop, simply waiting for the light to change so that I can cross the intersection and get to the stop, only to see the bus roll past 5+ minutes earlier than it should be there. Please, something needs to be done about this. If anything, if it can't be on-time, I would prefer that the bus be 10 minutes LATE, rather than early like this.
I am getting so sick of this bullshit. This will be the third time that I've sent in a similar complaint to them about this issue. I lucked out today only because the co-worker with whom I'd caught a ride was willing to race ahead of the bus and get me as far as the NE 51st St. bus stop (i.e. my old DigiPen bus stop) before the bus got to that one.
