I hate King County Metro so much.
Here's the body of the complaint that I just sent off to them, which is likely as futile as the previous ones:
I am writing to lodge yet another complaint about the 266 arriving 7-10+ minutes earlier than the posted time according to the Trip Planner. I will continue to lodge such complaints, futile though they appear to be, until either A) the 266 starts arriving at this stop at the time posted, or B) the Trip Planner is corrected to show the proper times.
Concerning point B, the Trip Planner still shows that the 266 should be arriving at 148th Ave NE & NE 31st St at 5:13pm and then arriving at 148th Ave NE & NE 51st St at 5:15pm. One of these two times is incorrect because it is not physically possible for a vehicle to go 20 blocks from 31st St to 51st St in just 2 minutes in even the best of conditions, let alone during rush hour traffic. By contrast, for example, the 253 is scheduled to arrive at the same stops at 5:07pm and 5:14pm respectively, according to the Trip Planner.
(TLDR version: the bus was about 8 minutes early yet again. Even leaving work 3 or so minutes early didn't help.)
That is not even taking into consideration that they're going to be raising the fares (again) in February by 50 cents and doing away with the 3-month passes altogether (which are, of course, primarily what I bought). Paying more for increasingly shittier service. Wonderful.
Consolation prize for today: episode 4 of Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People is out.
