I should be going to bed. Should probably have already been in bed.

Instead, I'm sitting here listening to the Shivers II - Harvest of Souls soundtrack on infinite repeat.

These songs have lyrics that are among the most asinine that I have ever heard, given that they're mostly intended to be tips and hints for the computer game. But, at the same time, looking beyond that and just letting the songs play outside of the context of the game, I can't help but attach a sort of deeper, perhaps even slightly sinister, meaning to them. It's illusory, but still strangely compelling.

In short, I believe that this is my favorite of all the video game soundtracks to which I have had the opportunity to listen, edging out even the various Silent Hill soundtracks.

I really need to go to bed now. Seriously.
