An interview with Uwe Boll.

On the one hand, he mentions being fed up with it all, so much so that he may not even make any more video game movies (but apparently not until he finishes with the bazillion or so to which he already has the rights, that is).

On the other hand, he's still talking about wanting to make a Metal Gear Solid movie. *insert sudden ominous piano chord here* Hopefully, Hideo Kojima actually did tell him to shove it where the sun doesn't shine, as was implied by the article. And if he hasn't done so yet, I hope he does it soon, if only to kill even the rumor that Uwe Boll may taint any potential MGS movie with his vile touch.

(EDIT)

Ah, and my fears appear to have been unfounded, since Hideo Kojima did, in fact, tell Uwe Boll to screw off.

Ok, so I now have the "poorly done ass 6" comment beside my grades for CS260 for some reason, even though it wasn't there before, and even though I have a 4 as the grade for assignment 6. The grading scale defines a 4 as "A Well done programming assignment". So which is it? Is my assignment 6 a "poorly done ass 6" or is it "A Well done programming assignment"? I mean, it works and all, so I would guess that the 4 is still valid... so why the "poorly done ass 6" comment that wasn't there before which has suddenly shown up now for no real reason?

I'm going to guess that maybe it has something to do with the fact that the ordering of student ID numbers seems to have changed at least twice today alone, and that perhaps the comments weren't shifted to match the new sortings and that my grades just happened to get stuck on a line that had the "poorly done ass 6" comment beside of it. I hope that's all there is to it.

Also, I'm not even going to mention the fact that we have TWO programming assignments AND a question set all due for this class next Wednesday AND would have also been having the midterm on that same day were it not for the fact that Hu forgot about us not having class on Monday due to President's Day. ...well crap, there and I went and mentioned it.

This class, which started out as merely quirky and amusing, has been getting worse with every passing week. I, strangely, still like Hu for the most part, but this is just getting ridiculous.

But forget about all that stuff for the moment.

William Shatner's kidney stone has an important statement to make.

I've been listening to 2 and his rants for a few years now, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kobanal, but I don't believe I've actually posted a link to his site until now, oddly enough. For a while, he had a radio show, though he no longer does it. I haven't yet had a chance to get caught up on all of those, unfortunately. Lately, he's been answering questions that were sent to him by listeners.

The gist of it all is this: The guy is incredibly foul-mouthed (have to get that one out of the way first, as a warning), very funny most of the time, and also pretty damned insightful most of the time as well. At least I think so. YMMV.
