Damn it.

Well, I got a call from Sears Optical saying that my glasses were ready to be picked up, so I decided to go and get them today.

However, it turns out that the buses through the Redmond Park and Ride and the surrounding area are cancelled today and tomorrow due to some dumbass parade or something. This was NOT mentioned AT ALL on the Metro website, so I didn't find out about this until after I had already walked to the Park and Ride and stood there like a fool for about ten minutes. Finally, someone else also waiting for a bus came up and happened to see the single tiny sign that was posted on the other side of the bus schedule board.

Guess I'll have to go pick up my glasses during lunch break or after work on Monday or something. This sucks ass.

Beyond Good and Evil

Ok, just finished Beyond Good and Evil.

I'll be brief: The game is awesome, if a bit short. Anyone who is a fan of the Ocarina of Time/Wind Waker style of gameplay should seriously consider giving this game a shot. Well, to be fair, I guess it's a bit more like Star Fox Adventures than Zelda. Eh, I know some hated Star Fox Adventures, but I liked it well enough. And anyway, BG&E is a much better game, in my opinion. It is available for purchase here.

Now, off to start the Fatal Frame series, when I finish this post. I hear it's scarier/creepier than even Silent Hill. I don't know about that, but still I'm expecting good things from it, based on the various reviews and articles I've seen about it.

Interestingly, someone is shooting fireworks about three blocks from here as I type this. I guess it has something to do with that carnival or fair or festival or whatever the hell it is that got the buses canceled this weekend.
