What, did Sony hire Chris Cunningham to make them a commercial or something? o_O
Strangely, despite that awesome bit of marketing there, I'm still not planning to buy a PS3 anytime soon.

And yeah, I suppose I can kind of see the whole 2001: A Space Odyssey thing that some people are mentioning, with the cosmic baby, and the supposed brief flash of the red HAL 9000 eyes on the baby, and the PS3 as the monolith... sort of. Well... actually, no. No, not really. Not at all.
At any rate, my initial impression was Chris Cunningham, and certainly not Stanley Kubrick.
