Snow Day / Street Fighter The Later Years

Man, learning that school has been cancelled tomorrow due to the snow has utterly annihilated what little productivity I may have had left tonight. >_>

Anyway, Part 2 of Street Fighter: The Later Years is out and about now. This is (or will be, when they finish it all) much better than that horrid Van Damme movie, which they directly reference here. The guy playing M. Bison is too awesome for words.

Dear Random Repeated Caller Who Isn't Leaving A Message,

This is four times you've called over the course of the day today. I am at a loss. I'm not sure what more I can do to dissuade you from harassing me. What part of "All of my calls are screened without exception. If you are not going to leave a message, then do not bother calling this number again." from my answering machine greeting do you not understand? Are you really that dense, or are you really just that much of an asshole? Or are you just some automated thing, which equates to both dense and asshole? Snow Day 2 / Phone rant 2

Holy crap. School's closed tomorrow as well. This pleases me muchly. *does a "no CS330 and MAT300 quizzes tomorrow" jig* It's supposed to start up again on Thursday from what I've seen on various weather forecasts, so I wonder if we'll go to school at all the rest of this week... >_>

I'm not too surprised, really. I just went across the street to Jack-in-the-Box a few minutes ago and I almost fell and busted my ass twice. There were very few cars on the roads and the ones that were seemed to be going about 5mph or so. The roads themselves weren't slick, except in the middle, but they were wet, which means they'll likely be slick by morning.

Still, while this may be a blockbuster of a snow for here in the Seattle area, this ain't nuthin' compared to what it can do back home. Of course, if I recall correctly, they tended to similarly close my high school at the merest threat of snow, so I guess it's not that much different from out here.
