Computer mouse died on me...
Jul. 13th, 2009 09:41 pmI've been expecting it to happen for a while now. It's been acting somewhat wonky for years now, but over the past few days it started acted even more so, and then today, it just stopped responding at all. I don't know if it's the mouse itself or the port that's bad, as Windows doesn't even recognize that it's there anymore.
In any case, I've ordered a new mouse from newegg.
While I was looking around on newegg, I figured that if I was going to start replacing dead/dying parts, I'd do well to replace my monitor as well. It, too, has been acting rather wonky over the past couple of years and has been getting markedly worse over the past few weeks or so. Losing a mouse is one thing, since I can still mostly control everything with just the keyboard, aggravating though it is, but losing the monitor would render me SOL.
Ordered this for the mouse and this for the monitor.
