I know I say this every year, but...

FLYING. SUCKS.

For instance, this year. To make a long story short (for now): I should have been home six and a half hours ago.

Intriguing...

On a whim, I tried to turn my computer back on, not really expecting it to do anything, and... it actually came on. Seemingly with no problem, at least so far. However, I know that if it did this once, it's very likely going to do it again, so I'm not going to mess around with it much. Well, I'm going to keep using it for now, that is (in fact, I'm using it right now to write this LJ post), but with the expectation that it may and likely will die on me again at any moment, probably sooner rather than later. Also, if nothing else, I'm going to go ahead and at least buy a power supply tester now, if not an actual power supply itself.

I guess it "just needed to rest" over the Christmas holiday.

And there it goes again. It lasted for less than a full day before just instantly shutting down again a couple minutes ago. Oh well.
