Seems like Steam has finally implemented something I've wanted for years...

...and that is for the volume controls on the videos on a game's Steam page to preserve its setting when the Steam client is launched, as opposed to going back to full blast volume on a relaunch. It is, now, at long last, keeping the volume setting at what it was before. So I will give credit where it's due, though that credit is marginal, as it took them way too damn long to do this.
