Remember that "Star Trek: The Next Generation, but in the style of Star Trek: The Animated Series" thing I posted about last year? Well, the same people who made that also did a bit from Star Trek: Voyager.

The episode they chose to animate is one of the most reviled episodes out of all of Voyager.

A post on Whatever dot Scalzi dot com.

Yet another reminder, which Mr. Scalzi says himself there, that all these tech companies co-opting LLM/AI for things like search engines was and is a bad move.

(And Mr. Scalzi is right. Even though Bard got the details of his book completely wrong, that hallucination sounds pretty interesting. Someone should write it.)

Full headline: "Stranger Things actor joins FaZe Clan in effort to 'bring women to the forefront,' former FaZe leaders bully her until she cries and seemingly quits"

My first reaction to this article: "Who or what the fuck is FaZe?"

My second reaction to this article: "Oh, it's just a bunch of (fak)e-sports dudebro assholes. *eye-roll + smh*"

That Rain shithead can get hit by a necrotizing fasciitis-infested garbage truck, and the sooner the better, as far as I'm concerned. Beyond that, I have zero interest in fAzE or whatever.

(EDIT) I also had to look up who Grace Van Dien was, because though I've seen Stranger Things up through season 4, I didn't recognize the name. Apparently, spoiler alert, she was the cheerleader who first appeared in the first episode of season 4 and then got murdered by Vecna at the end of the first episode of season 4. In any case, assuming she actually quit FazE, then it is my opinion that she's much better off with these fAZe douchenozzles in her rear view mirror. (/EDIT)
