These stupid fuckers are not Republicans and should not be described as Republicans. They are Trumpublicans, and they have been so for eight years now. They either have been 100% hoodwinked by Trump's perpetual con that he is a "good candidate for POTUS," or else they are 100% fully, knowingly complicit in said con. Either way, they have gone all in on this literal convicted felon (34 times over), and if they honestly believe that Dumbshit Jackass Trump actually is an innocent "prisoner of the Biden regime" or whatever asinine dumbfuckery, then they are so far beyond help that the light of the sun will never reach them.
On the possible bright side, at least, maybe moderates and swing voters will actually stop and say to themselves, "Do we really want to support a self-proclaimed wannabe dictator who has been convicted on 34 felony counts?" and then vote accordingly. We'll see when November gets here, I guess. *weary sigh*
When Trump finally dies (hopefully sooner, rather than later), the GQP is going to be left completely adrift. It remains to be seen if, at that point, they start to return to something vaguely resembling normalcy, or if the infection of Trump-rot has already become too far advanced and is at the terminal stage. That said, I mean, the Republican Party was already utter fucking dogshit even before Trump came along and started brazenly saying all the quiet parts out loud, though, so... who the fuck knows anything, anymore? *shrug + another weary sigh*
