Honestly, I actually have no idea how a "government shutdown" would directly affect the copious dogshit that Trump, co-POTUS Musk, and all the other dumbshits in the Trump """""administration""""" are doing, if at all, but I can at least fantasize about it leaving them all with the ability to do jack shit. If that really were the case, then I would be pretty much okay with the government being shut down for the entirety of the next four years. Fat chance of that, though.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump and anyone to do with Donald Trump forever, as usual.

Hmm, well... I'm all for doing anything that will prevent Trump from getting even more power, and if this... somehow... accomplishes that, then so be it I guess? I'm not sure how letting the GQP essentially get everything they wanted out of this will do that, though, but I'm not a fucking policy wonk, either. I guess it's tough being the supposed "adults" in the room and making supposedly "adult" decisions, when you're surrounded by aggressively belligerent and malicious children who want nothing more than to see you eat shit. Or rather, you know, grown ass-adults who act like such aggressively belligerent and malicious children who want nothing more than to see the Democrats eat shit, anyway. Especially when it looks like the Democrats are willingly sitting down at the shit dinner table, fork and spoon in hand, smacking their lips in anticipation.

It's still not a sure thing, either way, and there still might not be the votes to pass this fucking dogshit, regardless. And I'm still not sure if that wouldn't actually be the best outcome here.

In any case, though, it just feels like the Democrats are doing basically nothing whatsoever except freely letting the GQP completely run roughshod over them, and at least based on how everything is going right now, it feels like that may likely continue to be the case for the entire next four years. It's not great, any way one looks at it. *shrug + weary sigh*
