Otakuwars.org went down, like, what, after only a year or so, right? I can't recall when it was actually started, but the earliest archive.org snapshot is from October 2000. The latest semi-viable archive.org version is from July 2001, but then, the next snapshot from January 2003 (nothing in 2002, apparently) and everything after that just leads to those not-a-real-website websites that they replace defunct websites with.
Anyway, I never even bothered trying to do much with what I had on there. Even the angelfire site had more shit on it than that. (Oh man... this thing... ugh. *eye roll*)
And... holy shit, speaking of my angelfire site, it stillexists. I'm actually shocked at that. Not that it really matters, given that I can't log in anymore, but the fact that it's still there at all is kind of weird. *shrug*
And I forgot that the ML was actually started on eGroups (and it's a damn good thing that we didn't try to move it from there to otakuwars.org) and that eGroups was later bought by Yahoo. And now Verizon owns Yahoo, and shit sucks.
