I just sent two messages via their website forms to Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis of North Carolina, the full contents of which, to both of them, was this:
"All I wish to say to you, Senator <insert appropriate name here>, is that I hope that when the impeachment process reaches the trial stage in the Senate, you will do the right thing and vote to convict Donald Trump of his numerous blatant, brazen crimes. That is all. Thank you for your time."
Now, I'm already fully aware that this will accomplish exactly jack and shit as far as getting them to actually change their votes and not follow lockstep with the rest of the Trumpublicans (and I'm not even fully confident that the actual Senators themselves will even see the messages, to be honest), but it was, at the very least, a little bit cathartic for me to do this.
Also, if I receive any enraging, asinine replies from them on this topic (or, more unlikely, actually supportive replies), I will be sure to post them here.
