On my new Windows 10 OS, I have installed both FreeOffice and LibreOffice (to replace the ancient MS Office 2003 Student Edition that I was using before, but for which I no longer have the install disks). As of this moment, I think the simple deciding factor of which I'll probably use versus the other is LO Writer's ability to collapse the blank space between pages in documents, which FO TextMaker apparently can't do (or if it can do it, I haven't found the means to do so yet, as it's not as simple as merely double-clicking it like in LO).
On the other hand, FO is (supposedly) more compatible with MS Office documents than LO is, but so far I've had no issues with either of them in that department, what tiny bit I've used of them.
If there are more compelling reasons than that to use one instead of the other, however, I'm willing to entertain them.
(And I guess I should maybe change that "fuck windows 10" tag to just "windows 10" or something, but... meh, I think I'll just leave it as that, because it kind of amuses me. Or... I'll just make a new "windows 10" tag altogether. [I mean, it's not like anyone but me actually gives a shit about what tags I use or don't use, anyway. *shrug*])
