Over a year ago, Wil Wheaton left Twitter for Facebook, because Twitter is a toxic waste dump of stupidity, hatefulness, bigotry, fake news, and poor user privacy protections.
And now,Stephen King is leaving Facebook for Twitter, because Facebook is a toxic waste dump of stupidity, hatefulness, bigotry, fake news, and poor user privacy protections.
Hmm.
Well... sad to say, but I won't be following Mr. King back to Twitter. Hell, the only reason I'm still on Facebook at all is because my friend list is highly curated (and the list of people I make my posts visible to is even more curated than that [EDIT] not that FB can't see whatever the fuck FB wants to see, no matter how much I curate my post visibility, of course [/EDIT]). (EDIT 2, June 2022) And now I'm no longer on either Facebook or Twitter, so that's that, I guess. (/EDIT 2)
"Who cares about the political opinions of celebrities like Wil Wheaton/Stephen King? They should just shut up and stick to acting/writing!" whinge, hypocritically, all the people who voted into the office of President of the United States of America a dumbshit asshole who 1) was a "reality" show TV "star" for over a decade, 2) was a bit-part "actor" who won a Razzie for his "role" as himself in a softcore porn movie titled Ghosts Can't Do It in 1989, 3) was involved in a hair-vs-"hair" match in the main event of Wrestlemania 23, and, most importantly, 4) has egregiously terrible, abjectly hateful opinions about politics (and most everything else).
If only these people had stuck to their "who cares what celebrities have to say about politics" principles back when Trump started campaigning, too.
(Also, Donald Trump is such a crappy businessman, he can't even properly sell a Stone Cold Stunner.)

Man, fuck Google Photos. (/EDIT)
