So, I've posted about some comic book crossovers in the past...

...well, last night I found out about this one. It's not as bad as that guy describes it... but it's probably not something I would have wanted to pay money for.

There are two pages that are vying for the "favorite page" slot.

The first contender is this one:

In which they do the cheesy and predictable, but still cool "Dr. McCoy?!" bit. (I kinda agree with i-mockery, where I first heard about the whole thing, that the entire comic was probably written for that scene alone.)

However, I think my actual favorite page is probably this one:

In which Wolverine tries to act all bad, but then gets his shit fucked up by Mr. Spock. Yeah, yeah, he jumps back up and keeps running his mouth and snikts his claws out on the next page and all, but I still don't think Spock is too much worried about Wolverine.

It also has that blue mohawk dude who shows up at the end of the Juggernaut Bitch video and, yes, he punches the Enterprise.

And here's the crazy thing... There is also a sort of sequel, which has the crew from The Next Generation meeting up with the X-Men. And, crazier still, there is a novel which is a sequel to that one.

Ok, having read the TNG/X-Men crossover comic now, I'll just say this: "Poor Wolverine." First Spock, and now Data:

Also, I've ordered the Planet X novel from Amazon for about $8, in addition to some other unrelated stuff.

The sad thing is, I think I owned those comics at one point in time -- or at least the original series one and the novel. My favorite part was a picture in the back of the comic of Beast and Spock playing 3d chess.
