A post on Whatever.
Dumbfuck Trump is out of office and is (mostly likely, hopefully, fingers crossed) on his way to prison soon, but the Trumpublicans still gonna Trumpublican, I guess. And, yes, Mr. Scalzi totally predicted this. Not that one had to be Nostradamus to be able to predict that the GOP would continue to be a rancid ocean of steaming dogshit, mind you. It's just frustrating that the GOP could have chosen to not be entirely horrible, in the turgid wake of Trump's departure, but they have instead chosen to continue being entirely horrible.
The GOP is in dire need of utter dissolution... well, maybe the GOP itself doesn't need it, given that being entirely horrible has actually been working out rather well for them for the past few decades or so (if you ignore some minor setbacks like, you know, this previous election and all), but the rest of the country and the world certainly needs for it to happen, and the sooner the better, as it's becoming increasingly apparent that that is pretty much going to be the only way for everything to stop sucking so much encrusted asshole all the time.
