"But What If We Didn't"

"But what if we... didn't?" is as succinct, insightful, and astute an observation by John Scalzi of the modus operandi of the GOP for the past 30 years or so as anything I've seen in a good long while. The theory goes way beyond just the usual observations of egregious obstructionism perpetrated by the Repugnican'ts (in fact, I don't think the article even really mentions that particular aspect at all, though I admit that was my first thought when I saw the headline, especially when combined with that huge image of Bitch McConnell), and it approaches what I also feel is essentially the main core of the GOP at this point.

Also, that huge picture of Bitch McConnell at the top... *ugh*shiver*
