At the risk of offending the delicate sensibilities of anyone who might find this stupid, obsessive, pointless or whatever I don't give a flying shit, here's some more Jack Thompson fucktardedness. Click that link at your own risk, because it's about Jack Thompson, and it's very possible that you may not like reading about Jack Thompson so much.
For the record, I particularly enjoyed the last one that he sent to all those retailers.
(EDIT)
Paradoxically, I kind of agree with Adam Sessler in that we should just ignore Jack and maybe he'll go away. It's a good idea, in theory... but... yeah, if we ignore him, he'll go away, and also if I leap into the air three times while clicking my heels together, a billion dollars will fall out of the sky and land directly in my bank account. It's true. That we should ignore the fool has been said many times by many people, but nobody seems able to ignore the guy (myself included, most obviously). Jack Thompson is a walking, talking, human trainwreck. It's difficult not to just sit and gawk at and make fun of such a world-class bastard. And it's morbidly fun as well.
Not at all paradoxically, however, I agree more with Kevin Pereira in that if it were somehow possible to just start ignoring him, all that the general non-gaming public would ever know about JT would come only from all of his self-lauded appearances on 60 Minutes or the Today Show or podunk local news shows or whatever, where only his side of things would be seen. But then, it's not like the general non-gaming public watches anything other than 60 Minutes anyway, right Jack? Sadly, I don't think I've seen any of the more mainstream news outlets even hinting that Jack Thompson is actually not the big expert that he claims himself to be. They tend, from what I've seen, to take it at face value that the guy knows what he's talking about, and present him as such, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
