If you never watch anything else that is Critical Role-related, at least watch the above video from the indicated timestamp (12:02) for around 10 or 20 minutes or so. The only context you need going in: there was a diamond lost in water at the bottom of a thousand-foot cliff, and they are attempting to retrieve it.
My reaction to this was basically the same as that of Travis.
