In the years since this post, they seemed to have abandoned this godawful dogshit and have gone back to just posting videos normally again, like they did before temporarily adopting this godawful dogshit. Good on them.

Look. I just want a notification when the fucking video is ready to watch. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is. I don't want a notification when the goddamn teaser is up. I don't want a notification when the premiere bullshit is starting (in 83 minutes as of the time of this post, apparently, which means I'll be waiting at least another three or four hours before I actually try to watch it, to give the premiere idiocy plenty of time to be over and done with and out of my fucking way).
Seriously, all this shit is just making me less inclined to want to watch Some More News at all, in general.

Okay, so when you "set a reminder" on the teaser shit, Youtube will at the very least send you an email for when the premiere starts. (It's not something that goes to Feedly, though, which is how I usually get Youtube notifications these days.) However, there does not appear to be a "remind me again when the goddamned premiere horseshit is done and the full video is finally available" bell icon I can click (which would be far more useful to me, because I'm not going to be watching the premiere streaming shit).
