I miss (legit) arcades. Mind you, I almost assuredly would never actually go to one these days, even if they did still exist, but I do miss them. The last time I was in an arcade-like environment was in 2014, when I went to Lost Ark Video Games in Greensboro to sell all of my console stuff. They had a little arcade in the back of the store, and they let me play the games for free while I was waiting for them to tally up the price they were going to pay me for all that shit I sold them. It was kind of neat. I've never been back there, as of yet, but I've always kind of wanted to go. Perhaps if I'm ever in the market to buy a new (or old) console someday in the far flung nebulous future.
