It's essentially a follow-up to this previous PC Gamer article, in which industry veterans more or less agree with that previous PC Gamer article. Modern AAA video games (not just RPGs) are needlessly far too complex (and, as a result, too expensive), and if something doesn't change, there's going to be a crash. *fingers crossed*
