*weary. goddamn. sigh*
I've always wanted to at least try to play the old Wizardry games at some point, though I have yet to get around to it. I guess it's good to know that if I ever do that, I can definitely stop after Wizardry 8 with no regrets, since everything after that is apparently worse-than-useless dross.
Also, a couple of the comments under the article reminded me that Richard "Lord British" Garriott, known best for Ultima, is also into that crypto/blockchain/NFT bullshit now, and that just makes me sad. And that, of course, reminded me that Will Wright is into that dumbfuckery, too, which makes me even more sad. (And so is Peter Molyneux, but I quit caring so much about him years ago, so that doesn't make me all that sad.)
