Well, it has a Steam page now.

No sign of Denuvo infestation... yet. That doesn't mean jack shit, though, since the game isn't out yet, and most companies don't deign to disclose Denuvo infestations until very near, at, or after launch. After all, games like Street Fighter 6 and the Resident Evil 4 remake and most other recent Capcom games are infected with that malware, so... Dragon's Dogma 2 will probably be polluted with the dumbfuckery, too. If DD2 comes out and is contaminated with it, well, I'll be pissed off about it, will not buy it until the dogshit is removed, and will very likely write an extremely ranty post about it here, as per usual. That said, other games, like Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter World and Devil May Cry 5, which used to be tainted with Denuvo no longer are, so Capcom has shown that they're at least somewhat willing to not have that shit stifle the sales of their games in perpetuity, at the very least, unlike some other imbecilic modern video game companies I could name. And a rare few Capcom games like Great Ace Attorney were pristine and Denuvo-free from the start, so... while it's highly unlikely this will be the case for DD2, it's not entirely impossible, I suppose. I'm not going to get my hopes up about it, though. After all, GAA wasn't a RE Engine game, which DD2 will be, and pretty much every single one of those has indeed been poisoned with the horseshit on launch.
And... in any case, Denuvo or no Denuvo, I probably won't be buying Dragon's Dogma 2 until at least a year or two after launch, regardless, to give Capcom time to fix at least some of the inevitable launch bugs, as well as to wait for a sale, as I do for all games, because I'm not going to be buying even DD2 for $70USD or whatever the fuck it ends up being at launch. And that will let me see if they're going to wait and shoehorn in Denuvo after the fact, like some other recent games have.
