They're talking about scammers trying to scam buyers of NFTs, as if NFTs themselves are not inherently scams to begin with. I have absolutely zero sympathy for anyone who tries to buy a NFT and ends up getting "scammed." Even if you "legitimately" buy a NFT, then you have already been scammed, simply due to the fact that you bought a NFT.
